Quality Standards
How we check resources before they're published.
Structured Math Solutions resources go through the same checks before publication. This page explains what those checks are.
Mathematical Accuracy
Every problem, model, and answer key is checked for correctness before publication.
Grade Appropriateness
Content is written to match the vocabulary, number ranges, and standards typical of the stated grade level.
Clear Instructions
Student- and teacher-facing directions are written in plain language so a resource can be used with minimal setup.
Visual-Model Alignment
Visual models (ten frames, number lines, base-ten blocks, area models, and similar tools) are used consistently with how they are typically taught at that grade.
Answer-Key Verification
Answer keys are checked against the problems on the page before a resource is published.
Readable Page Design
Pages are laid out for legibility — clear spacing, readable font sizes, and enough room for student work.
Print Usability
Resources are checked for how they actually print, including black-and-white use where applicable.
Consistency Across Related Resources
Resources in the same series or grade band use consistent formatting, terminology, and visual models.
Version Updates
When a resource is meaningfully revised, the update is reflected in the file made available to buyers.
Error Correction Policy
If you find an error in a resource, contact us and we'll review and correct it as quickly as possible.
Our Review Process
Each resource moves through the same sequence before it's published:
- Draft — the resource is built around a specific skill and grade level.
- Mathematical QA — every problem and model is checked for correctness.
- Visual QA — layout, spacing, and print appearance are reviewed.
- Answer-Key Check — the answer key is checked against the problems.
- Print Check — the resource is checked for how it actually prints.
- Release — the resource is published to the catalog.
